samsung SCH-U450 freezes when trying to send a text?

when I press the letters either on the front (number buttons) or the slide-out keypad everything goes fine and normal but when I press any other button ton send/finish the message the screen freezes.... there is no water or screen damage..... what can I do to fix this?

Mine is doing the same this as well. Also, it freezes when i hit the space key.
