Sandisk Sansa Fuze scroll wheel is stuck?

I've been hearing soo much of these. It makes me laugh in a way.
It's kinda upsetting how they are all from so long ago. I imagine tons
of broken Sansa's. X)
Anyways:
I squeezed the liquid from the kitchen wipes kind of thing over the scrolly thing.
After leaving it alone from a night or two and then after, continuously scrolling it
(preferably while it is off), it started working again. However, sometimes when it
gets humid and hot, the wheel starts to become sticky again.
You can't do anything about that.
I tried.
