ok i want to get a mp3 player with at least 2gb of memory i came down with two good one's the sandisk sansa fuze and the sony walkman NWZE436FBLKBB.

here is what i like about them...

sandisk sansa fuze:

has a scroll thing for easy to find music
FM radio
expandable memory
nice wide screen

sony walkman
nice long screen
great sound quality

im leaning to the sandisk fuze because of the expandable memory SD cards

any one who has the fuze, can you tell me if its worth getting???
do they easily crash and get ruined??

the same question for the sony walkman mp3 player!

Fuze is good, but keep looking

I bought a Fuze 2GB over 3 years ago, and even after all the abuse I've dealt it, the bugger still won't die. Even after I dropped it in a bowl of water, I let it dry out then hit it and it was right as rain.

Pros:
The sound quality lives up to it's reputation, and the ability to make custom equalizer settings rather than dealing only with presets is refreshing. The interface is wonderfully simplistic, and it will read most any audio file format. The size is perfectly compact with a satisfying wheel interface and a large screen in proportion to the device.

Cons:
The expandable memory is a bit over rated. I'd trade it away for extra internal memory any day. The cable is a bit restricting. The most frustrating feature (or lack there of) is the total lack of any practical playlist creation capabilities. Videos need to be specially converted to work with the Fuze.

Personally, I'd recommend the Fuze as the best generic MP3 player to my knowledge. I'm still looking to try something new myself, but I can say the Fuze is very good and will last a very long time.
