Saving ringtones on android ally?

Ok, so I got this ringtone through a message and I pressed and held and the tab came up and I clicked save as ringtone, I checked the settings, it says I've saved it as a ringtone, the volume is all the way up, but when I get a call, the phone only vibrates. But when I get a text or voicemail, it rings with the ringtone. I've even tried individually setting the ringtone as my contacts ringtones, and even that didn't work, sooo how do I fix it?
