SCI FI BOOK IDEA IS THIS OK?

Ok my idea (please don't take my ideas you probably wont but still) is a science fiction story about wild cats tiger/lions/kugars ETC having their brains replaced with a computer system (small one) where they cannot think for themselves but are created to serve the miltary their bodies are also reinforced with metal and almost bullet proof do you think this is a good idea where animals are being replaced with mindless robots i've been trying to mix between adult themes while including animals so would this be ok, would people read it? also about what year should it be based? the idea is that people are advanced but not advanced enough to have completely robotic creatures because honestly i think that would be boring and overused but let me know what you guys think =)

It will depended on how you present the story. What you have presented is a plot device, NOT a plot. The plot is that part of the book that shows the protagonist(s) struggling to overcome various problems to reach their goal.

For example Hobbits in Lord of the Rings are a plot device - Small sized people with different customs - if that is all you knew and you did not know the quest to destroy the ring would the plot device mean much? While they become major protagonists they could have done that being any type of person - the themes are universal - their differences add to the story as a plot device

You need a clear plot summary before anyone can give you a fair evaluation
