sd card/ straight talk/ music and ringtones HELPP?

i put music on my SD card from windows media player..pop the card in my phone and it says there is something taking up memory but i click on every file in my card and its not there.
i got alot of audio converts and made it 30 seconds but it wont open in a windows media player and i edit it and shit. i really need help cause i cant get ringtones or music on my phone.

GIVE ME DETAILS ON HOW TO DO THINGS IM KINDA SLOW
 
i have a straight talk sidekick and it has a music player on it. it says i have to set it up on the computer. but i do not have the manual with me right now so i dont know what to do.
