In October, I purchased a Sony Walkman 580i cell phone with a prepaid AT&T Plan. It worked fine for several months, but recently, a problem has cropped up. Seemingly at random, the words "Searching for Network" will appear at the top of the screen. The phone will then drain its battery in roughly an hour, presumably searching for the aforementioned network. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I might resolve this problem? My phone is useless until this issue is fixed.
