For Graphics the ps2 demonstrated it's ruthless visual power with God of War.
An epic action packed adventure game that took the world by storm.
The dreamcast fights back with Soul Calibur.
The legendary 3d fighting game that is just as deadly as it is beautiful.
Soul calibur is highly impressive for the time but the visuals don't lie.
the edge for graphics go to the ps2!
Multiplayer
before we can find out which system is deadlier we must take a look at their multiplayer capabilities.
The ps2 has 2 controller ports.
also included in the ps2's arsenal is online gaming.
but the modem is sold separately.
But the dreamcast fanboys aren't impressed.
Their system has 4 controller ports with a built in modem for online gaming.
The edge for multiplayer goes to the DreamCast!

A fishing pole controller that has a detachable rod to be played with a variety of other games on the system.
It's close but the eyetoy's games are of questionable quality.
while the dc motion controller works with some of the best games ever released for the dreamcast like soul calibur and virtua tennis.
That gives the final edge to the dreamcast!

while the ps2 did take the edge in graphics, the better multiplayer was on the dreamcast. it let 4 people play offline and let people play online together right out of the box. appose to the ps2 that required buying something for both of those things.
