Selling my old car and going through separation anxiety?

I have a 1998 Honda Accord that has 148,000 miles on it. I have to sell it to buy a 2006 Lexus RX400h. I don't want to sell the Honda as it has been in the family for quite some time. Plus, the car still runs and looks great! My husband says that once I get the Lexus, I am going to forget that I even had the Honda. I am going through separation anxiety. Can anyone comment on this? Any advice on how to get over this, or comments will help.
