The Ottawa Senators landed Stephane Da Costa on Thursday. The Senators signed the sought-after NCAA free agent forward to a two-year entry level contract.

Da Costa spent two seasons at Merrimack College. He scored 14 goals and 31 assists in 33 games this season, and was a second-team Hockey East All-Star.

The highly coveted player was scouted by as many as 20 teams during this season. Da Costa is from Paris and represented France in last year’s World Championships.
