I bought this mobile and have been trying to set up an email connection in Gmail. I have tried several settings but I always get Connection Failed when trying to send or receive. Currently these are my settings for gmail" :
account name: Gmail
SMTP server: imap.gmail.com
SMTP port: 465
secure connection: SSL
Incoming server type: Pop3
Pop3 sever: pop.gmail.com
APOP Login : ticked
Secure Connection: SSL
Download limit: 500
Retreive option : whole messge
Keep on server: ticked
my email address: *****@gmail.com
username:*****@gmail.com
pssword: ****
POP before SMTP: unticked
SMTP auth: ticked
SAme as POP3/IMAP: ticked
I would like to know if there is some app that can send attachments because that is mainly what I want to do from my cell. Also, I have yahoo mail, hotmail and gmail so any successful settings will be greatly appreciated.
