much? My gf of 7 years proposed to me last month and we live in michigan, gay marriage will probably never be legal here so we're gonna most likely go to new york to get married. My question is will my marriage be honored back here in mich?
 
I think in time we will, i think the process is slow but waiting is worth it.

We gain rights but little by little. It may take a very long time to get the full rights we want and deserve but if we stick together I am sure one day we can accomplish our goal of getting all the rights we want and deserve.
