Water pump went out Sunday. Removed belt just by pulling it over the water pump pulley...tight but manageable.
Trying to install belt is a no go. Do I need to work with the smoth surfaced idler ? tensioner ? located on the middlish right of engine with what looks like a shock absorber on the backside of idler/ten. Do I need a special tool? And of course HOW?
Pulleys from L to R are... Bottom Left= Alternator - Middle Upper= Water Pump - Middle Lower= Cam? - Middlish Right= Idler/Tension - Top Right= Power Steer - Bottom Right= AC
