car info: 1996 Buick Roadmaster wagon, lt1 v8 85k miles
problem: service engine light comes on when climbing a longer grade.....(though it will do it when starting and stopping on short hills when cold) ...it seemed to have happened when put on my K&N cold air kit. the code i have is 0174 which means lean condition bank two.
the way i know it happens on hills is i borrowed a reader off a friend and clear it out when it comes on, and it always happens on top of a hill!
Allied auto parts says O2 sensors, 1 mechanic says pcv valve, K&N said clean my Maf,....im confused...and replacing sensors at random is expesive work!
