Setting up a direcTV dish in a rented apartment?

My apartment complex doesn't allow anything to be connected to the building or balcony. How can DirecTV be set up?

They will set a post as close as possible to the utility easement, mount the dish on the post and bury a cable to the box going to you apt. Most apts. are prewired for telephone and cable.

man i hate going to a apt to install. first you have to get landlords approval for the dish to be mounted on the ground like other person said. Most likely you are peeing in the wind. Land lords hate allowing 1 dish in because that gives free reins to future dishes. last thing a landlord wants is 30 dishes on his lawn. It is more hassle than it is worth trust me.
