This morning while getting dressed my fiance's 14 and 12 year old sons cam running into our room saying they didn't have any deodorant or they were about to run out and wanted to know if they could use mine. I'm just one of those guys who feels you shouldn't share deodorant. I use stick not spray.
My question to them was when they ran out the day before why didn't they say something so that we could have gotten them some and not wait until 6 AM the next morning. My girl looked at me and said, "just let them use yours." Again, everyone has their little hangups and this one is mine. I do not like to share my deodorant. She then says, "don't you have a new tube in the bathroom?" I said yes but that was my last one and I'd be out then. Sorry, I'm just anal about that. These are her sons, soon to be my step-sons but they typically have 2 or 3 different kinds of deodorant on their dressor from where their mom will buy them different kinds.
I had a tube of Curce deodorant that came with a gift set I had that I hardly ever use in the bathroom so I let the boys "have" that but my girl was a little upset that I didn't let them use my deodorant. Then she tried to justify it by saying that when my daughter ran out of deodorant a year or so ago I let her use mine. She said, "yes, you fussed at her but you still let her use it." So I apparently had a problem with it then but that was my daughter.
Was I wrong for not letting her sons use my deodorant or even have my last one? They all tend to wait until they completely run out and it's first thing in the morning before they say anything. They always wait till the last minute.
