I don't really want to shave down there because at my age I really don't think any ones gonna be in there or seeing it (I hope). So, I just want to kind of shorten the hairs and trim so i don't have to worry about it when im wearing bathing suits and changing in change rooms and stuff. If I do this, how short should i cut to and will the hairs be itchy since i cut them at the ends and make it itchy adn uncomfortable? I just think shaving is kinda of unnecessary, as long as you clean enough and keep the Hygiene good it should be ok, and i don't want to basically look like a lil girl down there either. So please answer, how short i should go, if it will be itchy or bug me at all, and if thats a better idea than shaving and if it will work. I just dont want to have to worry about an embarrassing moment or anything :P Thanks

personally, i HATE not being shaven. when it grows out its just so uncomfortable. i dont have a boyfriend anymore, so no one sees mine. just because your young dosnt mean you shouldnt shave for yourself, dont bring age into this thats just redick. dont be such a baby

Hahaha, no worries! Try picking up a pet hair trimmer at a pet store. sounds weird i know, but it's like a trimmer (you know, the things they use to give pigshaves at salons :P ) Except its a lot smaller and easier to use down there. It should come with a variety of different length-measurers (NO IDEA WHAT THEY'RE CALLED!), so try using the longer one, since the shorter one can sometimes be TOO short and might cut you or make the hairs way too short. As for scissors, i avoid them just because I always get HORRID visuals of accidentally slipping D: ... owchie. Yeah dont shave. It's SOOO uncomfortable.

just shave the sides of it so it doesnt poke out of your tog bottoms. trim it down to like half a cm. this probably sounds weird, but the most comfy part of a shaven vagina (lol) is when it gets to about 1/3-1/2 cm, cause like a day after you shave it gets irritated then about 3 days after it grows to a comfy length

Shave the sides clean don't shave up you will get irritated skin and a higher chance of an infected hair folicle which is not pretty or nice feeling. On the sides its ok to shave sideways start from the outside and go towards yourself otherwise shave down there will be less irritation. Also use a fresh blade to shave in that area this will also cut down on irritation and use shaving gel/cream I like skintamate.
1/2-1/3 is comfy and will be soft still and not prickly like if you were to shave all the way down. Hope this helped.

If your young shave the bikini lines for now, & yes trimming is a good idea for the middle area. Shaving causing razor bumps, itching, irritation, and stubble. Also shaving will cause hair (in any area) to grow back thicker and coarser. Its uncomfortable! Use gentle shaving creams and try using Bikini Zone gel afterwards, it soothes and prevents all the irritation. Use fragrance free lotions to lessen itching & irritation from dry skin.

Eventually when your ready you can try waxing when your older. I purchase Surgi Wax *Brazillian for a bare, use at home, wax. It takes time to get used to, I got waxed at salons before doing it at home. It's a little painful to get used to but once your ready its a nice alternative to shaving. I grow the same amount of hair within a month that I would 3-4 days after shaving. Hair grows back sparse, and the hairs are thin and fine.

Nicola's right.
There's actually nothing wrong with looking "like a little girl"
Most guys like it better.
In my opinion, shaved is better. I like the softness of it better than prickles. You can cut as short as you can, and it should be comfortable. There should be no way you can cut to where it isn't. Scissors don't get that close to skin!
