when there was ice on the ground i went down a small country road. i didnt realize how much ice there was on the ground and couldnt turn. i went straight into a snowbank. i got lucky and my bumper isnt too damaged and has a little chipped paint . when i was driving it the day after i realized that i couldnt see what gear i was shifting into, the lights on the shifter that tell you what gear your putting it in dont light up. would this just be a fuse or something that is harder to fix? all of the instrument panel lights still work and nothing else is wrong that i can tell
yes the shifter lights worked before i hit the snowbank. now i cant tell what gear im shifting into when its dark outside when i could before
its an automatic if that helps, not gears like 1 2 3, gears as in park reverse and drive, (the P R N D 2 1 letters on the left side of the shifter)
