Shipping a ds game console?

I was wandering if anyone has shipped a Nintendo ds console in an large clasp envelope and wrapped the ds in thick bubble wrap. If so did this work? I also understand a box would be much simpler but I asked this question out of curiosity. Thanks in advance.

yeah ive done it before, recently with an ipod to

what I used was the padded envelope from the USPS store, the envelopes free and its $5 to ship anything that can fit in it (good size to)

I wouldn't use the big bubble type wrap, use the one with small bubbles and wrap it a couple of times

should be good to go
