My mom took her 2004 chyrsler sebring into a local Les Scwab here recently to have her wheel bearings checked because they were making noise. They took it for a test drive and said the right front bearing was bad. They replaced the hub and charged her $300. After she had it fixed the car is still making the "growling" noise. She took her car back today to the same place and they told her that her left side wheel bearing was bad. They did an echo test the second time to determine that the left side was bad. Why wouldn't they have told her that both were bad when she got it fixed the first time? What if they replaced the wrong side? Does she have any recourse? Its hard to prove whether or not the right side was bad since it was already switched out.
