Should A Christian Strive To Be A Mangaka?

For those who don't know, a Manga-ka is an artist who writes or draws manga, which is sorta like the Japanese-style of American comics. A lot of manga just isn't appropriate, and diffidently not right for Christians to read or write, but there are also a lot cleaner popular manga series like Fruits Basket, Kitchen Princess, Special A, and Kaichou wa Maid-sama. I'm wondering, though, would it be wrong for a Christian to dream of being a Manga-ka? I'm thirteen and have only been reading manga since I was about twelve, but I'm really good at drawing manga, good enough to even summit my art in manga competitions (if I happened lived in Japan, that is. =-=). My style is just a little better then Higuchi Tachibana, author of Gakuen Alice, and I truly love drawing manga and making up my own characters, but I'm just not sure I should be.

I've been raised Christian all my life, and I worry. My dreams to become a Manga-ka haven't been shared with anyone else but to the Lord. My family doesn't even know I read manga. Should I still be striving to be a Manga-ka, or would it go against God's Word in any ways?

Opinions? Advice? Bible verses?

Well, I'm not Christian, nor am I quite good enough to be a manga-ka. BUT I know enough about the most popular Christian beliefs to answer, I think.
If you don't participate in any yaoi/yuri/smut/etc* drawing, reading, or writing, I think you're good. In my humble opinion, God should be fine with whatever you choose to do, job-wise, as long as in isn't harmful or 'inappropriate.'

*- Yaoi is gay-sex-manga. Yuri is lesbian-sex-manga. I've included those because of the sex, NOT the homosexuality. Smut is, well, smut.
