Should a dog (8 month old puppy) with hip dysplasia be going for walks ? 2 other doctors advice 20 minutes slow walk every day to strengthen the muscle.
And I have another 2 doctors telling me that they should be restricted to a small area (small crate until at least 2 years old) to prevent their movement because it will only worsen the hips. They said that less burden on the hips is more important than strengthening its muscle. They said it's sounds cruel but best for the dog.
