Hi, I am doing a law/business speech about capital punishment in class.
I would love to know your opinion, about whether or not you think capital punishment should be re-introduced, or if you think that it should happen.
So it would be great if you could give your response!

Okay so what I mean is;
Do you think 'death penalty' should be illegal, do you think people should allow it?
Do you think it is fair?
What are Your Opinions on capital punishment?

No. People have become sick after finding out that they helped execute someone who was really innocent. Now they are praying to their God to forgive them and it's all because of some evil prosecutor. The Govt has no right to force anyone to sit on a lynch jury and call it the duty of a citizen to kill every 4 years or gather a lynch jury who wants the duty to kill every 4 years. Capital punishment doesn't belong in a society that doesn't follow in state thou shall kill. It is totally absurd that people of religion should be subject to such acts by a state Govt.

It's still around in some states

I would find out if it really acts as a crime deterrent.

Financially, it is much more expensive to put someone to death (and go through the court system several times to get there) then lock them up for life.

As Erik said the death penalty is still active in a lot of states including Florida, Texas, California,Mississippi, Virginia and Alabama which are very well known states for Capital punishment I personally oppose the death penalty a life is a life no matter what both families lose in the case I especially oppose the electric chair
