Ok, first thing, I'm not a Christian. I do have many Christian friends though and I come here every once in awhile and what I see is Christians not acting very Christ like. They are rude, name call, and sometimes down right nasty to others for simply not sharing their beliefs. They are other religions in the world and I believe that we here in the US are mainly Christian because of where we live. It just so happens that americans are mostly Christian. If we lived in like India, we'd all be Hindu. Now they and other religions believe in their religions just as strongly as people here believe in Christianity. Who is to say that any ones religion is THE one that everyone should believe. Most religions talk about being loving and caring and say not to murder yet, more people have died in the name of God than for any other reason. Some of that is still going on. Although I know that they are very good people in most religions, I have seen so much hypocrisy by so many so called Christians that I've been kinda turned off to all religions. I believe that there is something here, some power or force that I can tap into . I seem to be going back to my native american roots, it's much simpler and there is no dogma. Religion just doesn't seem for me.

i agree with much of what you've said. you don't need 'religion' to be in touch with God. read the Bible and forget all the dogma.
