Christian means to imitate Christ, so if that is their claim then they should follow their pop culture mantra WWJD...
 
YUP! You do know why that earthquake happen because they are Shinto! And this is a warning and message to all of humanity that if we dont do what he says he will do this! AND YOU DO KNOW THERE ARE 2% CHRISTIANS IN JAPAN!
 
No. Prayer is a waste of time except to make the person praying feel better about themselves.
Better off actually doing something like donating to a non religious charity.

Prayer is known not to work, but, if it makes you feel better, please do.

Almost all Japanese are atheists with Buddhist and Shinto traditions.

Christianity is more of a definition than a religion. Christianity is the welcoming of all people - no matter whom.

Christianity is service to others - what makes one act like a Christian - who can choose not to be one, that's OK.

Christians are given the will to respect all other opinions on religion - because those things make us the people we are. All people must be prayed for, whether Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Atheist, whatever. Under God's eyes we are all children of Him and being a Christian is just choosing to respect God in the way He loves us.
