introduced in football? Here's what my buddy Freshy said with which I agree 100%:

"I have to say I'm somewhat against having all sorts of technology in the game because it'll slow the game down and take away from the passion. Imagine if the coaches were able to challenge every call, the game would stop every 10 seconds. However, if each coach was allowed three challenges just as they are allowed three substitutions, then the truly game changing decisions can be challenged such as England's goal and Argentina's offside goal. The coaches will be forced to hold off from challenging every referee decision yet be able to challenge offside goals, disallowed goals, dives and penalties."

Why is this not done yet????

I do agree with you. Referee's don't get to see things from other angles until after the game. If they're not paying attention for one split second they could make a wrong decision which changes the whole game. I think there should be a head referee who has all the different angles on camera who makes the decision if there is confusion, or if he disagrees with the decision made.

It is apparent that for high profile games the use of a video referee is needed. Sports such as Rugby Union, Rugby League, Cricket, Tennis all use such technology and it has enhanced games. I do not understand what FIFA are scared of.
