its a for position at financial aid office at the college i graduated from.
Requirements: 2 yrs related experience. It also said preference will be given to ppl w/ financial aid experience.
I obviously dont have that experience, but i know some about financial aid since i used it when i was in college and can learn fast.
What are my chances of being called? should i even bother?
Thx

The word required means that it's mandatory.
If you apply for the job that you don't qualify for all that says to the company is that you don't know how to follow instructions, aka not a good employee.

Jobs have so many qualified - and overqualified! - applicants that in no case should you bother to apply if you do not fully meet all requirements. Over 31 million Americans are currently looking for work. The real unemployment rate is 22.6%. If you think they'll get so few applications that they might consider you, you are living in Cloud Cuckoo Land.
