...under warrenty? i recently put my samsung j700 into the repair shop to be fixed as the circuit board had become unattached to the charger bit. the women at the counter told me it happens allot with samsung phones and if the engineer couldn't fix it then i would have to buy a new phone. the warranty for samsung mobile phones is 6 months for the battery and 1 year for the phone. my phone isn't even past the 6 month period so i assumed it would be replaced if not fixed. i still have the receipt and warranty card ETC. they sent me an email saying it couldn't be fixed and i would have to buy a ned phone. is this correct?

Sounds as if you bought from one place but taken to another place for repair.

You need to go back to the retailer who sold you the phone and claim for repair/replacement undr the warranty. The selling retailer is your legal - for warranty purposes - point of supply.
