I am 42 years old female and exercise about 4 times per week- running, cycling. Also do lots of walking- so you could say I'm athletic.
My BMI and weight have always been normal and I am definitely not skinny, but I am muscly.
So I have never worried about weight. However, I recently got some body fat scales and they gave me a reading of 17.8% body fat- which is way below the recommended 25% for my age. (my BMI is 20-perfectly normal)
I'm not sure whether to start consuming calories big time?
Don't really know whether to take any notice.
