Should i bother getting a nintendo dsi?

Since they have the 3ds coming out soon they will stop making new games for the dsi so what would be the point in buying it? but the thing is some of my friends are getting the dsi soo i sort of want it. Would it be stupid? because they wont make dsi compatible games and the dsi would get boring pretty fast
 
probably not, the 3ds is coming out spring for japan if i remember from e3 and it wont come til holiday 2011 probably

The 3DS is coming out very soon. If you're one of those people who cannot be bothered to wait, go ahead. But i strongly recommend you wait :)
