Should I but the iPad 3?

Okay, my uncle is selling his iPad 3 for 400 dollars with the screen protector thing. He has had it for about 4-5 months. I want to ask all of the apple fans out there if this is a good deal? he never uses it or anything. It has 16GB if that helps. Money isn't a problem and i'm willing to spend that much. The only thing i'm worried about is if or when I do get, will I not like it as much? Ive really wanted one for some time but I do already have a galaxy note that I use a lot and don't want to spend or waste money on something that isn't all that great. Thanks in advance!
