multi-effects processor, or a new guitar? i currently own a first act volkswagon electric guitar.
i have a fender frontman 38 watt amp.

i have $300 to spend.

i thought a $200-$300 guitar would not be worth the money. and i would like more effects and different sounds. so i would rather get the amp or the multi-effects processor.
which is better.....a line 6 spider 3 75 watt amp, or a digitech rp350 (or rp 355) multi-effects processor?

also if there are any other amps(similar to line 6...as in has many effects) or multi-effects processors better than what is listed please name them.

thank you
i have been playing since august of 2007. and i practice for hours everyday. so i am guessing skill would be like intermediate.

first off i guess it depends at what skill level you are at. I wouldnt jump to a new guitar until you are better then your equipment. Anyways I would go with the spider 3, it has a great sound to it. Personally i would go with an amp first, then after saving up a bit more I would head on ebay or craigslist and buy a used guitar for about $200-400.

hope this helped
