In my dance school there is a teacher who I think isn't doing a good job, this is what she does:
1)She doesn't really concentrate on everyone only one person
2)She doesn't focus on exercises that will help go on pointe
3)She is constantly late-sometimes 15 minutes late
4)She doesn't really do set exercises, she just lets people do what they like and then she will do it
Anyway these are just some of the things she does. What do you think I should do? I don't want to tell her in person so any websites would be useful.
She is the boss and she has been teaching for 7 yrs. I am 13 and have been dancing for 8yrs
Does anyone know any websites for complaining as I really don't want to tell her?

If she is the boss, there really is no one to complain to is there. Why not just look for another school.

Yes.. if there is enough complaints then they would sit her down and talk to her. She may be so distracted and sound like she isn't focused on her job and she isn't giving her all in the class that you guys are paying for. I would be frustrated and your wanting a good class and want to learn and make sure your doing things right. If she has a boss go to her boss and let her know your concerned for her and that you think something is going on and doesn't really have time for the class and that your missing at last 15 minutes of the class before she even walks in the door. These teachers get paid good to teach and she expects you to be there on time to start so you expect her. Sounds like she may need some direction. It could be her first time teaching or second and if you complain to the head they might be able to give her some direction in helping her organize her class better.

Yes! If she is teaching at a studio there should be someone to report her to. If not you need to find a new teacher. It sounds like she doesn't know that much or she'd be giving you more information and instruction. People who are chronically late are actually saying by the behavior that they are more important than others and who needs that attiutude! Ditch her!
