Should I freeze a stuffed bell pepper before or after baking?

I bought a rather large bag of bell peppers on sale at Kroger the other day. I don’t want to let them go bad so I have decided to freeze some stuffed bell peppers for later. I cannot decide whether I think the extras will come out better if I freeze them before or after I bake them. Anyone have experience or opinions about which way will work better when it comes time to cook/reheat them?

The recipe I use is pretty basic with a rice, ground meat, onions, mushrooms, and sour cream stuffing. I sometimes add cheese or tomatoes but don’t intend to with this batch. I listed the ingredients in case they affect your opinion. Also, I like them kind of firm and not collapsing upon themselves when they are done.

If you have any other suggestions for what I can cook to help “save the bell peppers” lol or any stuffed bell pepper recipes you love, please feel free to share. I’d appreciate it.

Thanks!

Before bakeing so you aren't reheating meat. Also they'll taste nicer without being cooked then heated to death :)
