Should I get a PS3 or an Xbox360?

I want to get a new system because I already have had most of the nintendo system's. The only ones I haven't had are the Sony systems and the Xbox360. Could someone tell me which one is better and why? I was leaning towards getting the PS3 but I heard it takes a while to load and that the Xbox 360 was way better. what do you think?
