I can't decide....which cellphone would you get and why? A touch-screen one or one with a QWERTY keyboard?

U need to think how will u carry it if its in ur pocket will it unlock itself in ur pocket i find the keyboard ones less hassle the touch ones seem tempramental at times .

the keyboard ones are just as hard/easy to use.

if you get a touch screen, it can still give you the touched feedback (through vibration or other) that a keyboard cellphone does.

I like touch screens better, I think there a lot easier to use. Most of the phones I've had have been touch screens. I have an iPhone right now.

I love my touch screen, but I do at times wish it had a keyboard. My suggestion would be a touchscreen with a slide out keyboard...that way you always have the back up option.

Do not ask for more suggestions, because everyone is gonna recommend touch screen over qwerty pad phones. I have used many touchscreen phones as well as keypad phones. But the flexiblity, easy navigation, quick typing with swype, and last is awesome looks, which makes me inclined towards touchscreen.
If not convinced, you can ask to our experts in the given link below

i know them from experience:
I used to have a blackberry they last longer it wasnt a touchscreen one but heres the breakdown:
Slide phone with qwerty keyboard:
they last longer
the screen and the whole phone is practically more duriable
touch screen:
they get shot after a year
you have to buy a whole case that way because there more fragile
and if ur looking just buy a nice ipod touch 4g.
ANd for touch screen phones most of them are smart phones and only few companys have a smartphone touch slide iwth qwerty but u will have to get a contract that way u dont have to buy the data pack but i really dont know ur situation.

The touch screen ones give you the best of both choices. You can touch a keyboard icon and a touchable keyboard shows up on screen for number and letter entry. So you have QWERTY covered.

What is unique on the touch screen is that you can scale an image. If you want to see a map or a picture's detail you can stretch it with your fingers. Try that with a keyboard.

I have a Verizon Android and would never go back to just a keyboard phone.
