Currently, the only thing I own is a netbook since someone robbed my home. My laptop and desktop along with other things were stolen. I've already replaced the desktop, but I'm having difficulties deciding whether or not to purchase the iPad or another laptop...
Reasons why I would want an iPad:
It's beautiful!
Reliable
Extremely light
AMAZING Screen
Easy to use
It's fun and different
Best at computing daily tasks
It's OS mixed with the touch functionality makes it feel much more personal than any laptop
Why not to get an iPad:
I just feel like it wouldn't replace my laptop. It's beautiful, fast, lightweight, reliable,fun...but it's also a big investment for something that's so scarce in storage for one. It's capabilities are very, VERY limited compared to that of an actual personal computer, and they get outdated rather quickly. No usb, sd card slot or anything like that ofcourse
I want:
I want basically all the iPad has (hence I want the iPad)
I need:
More than what the iPad has (hence I need a laptop)
I'm aware that windows 8 just came out and that there are computers with touchscreen capabilities that function and look great. they also have app stores...but I've always loved apple products and their selection of apps definitely surpasses that of windows 8. I'm stuck...I don't want to make the wrong mistake..so help please?
