Should I get an Ipod Touch, PDA, or Netbook?

I'm looking to get a device that is mobile and functional. The main features I need right now are summed up as a personal organizer, but I also do a lot of writing and note taking. Currently I have a laptop, and that deters me from getting a netbook, but my laptop is big and is a hassle to carry around (not even to mention all the unplugging I have to do when I need to take it off of my desk). I'm a college student so having something that I can quickly check email on, record lectures, and possibly even take pictures, would be a big plus. This said, I am leaning towards the Ipod Touch, as it has the camera and camcorder (not sure if it has just a voice recorder) and I know it has calender and internet features as well. If anyone could lend me any advice I would appreciate it. I'd like to save money where I can and still get what I need. Thanks to any that throw advice my way.

I would suggest a net book because they offer the most for the price. You can get some Gateway net books for under $300 dollars and they are compact, portable and fast! Ipod are only good for entertainment porpoises. with net books you can view the internet in its entirety.

The iPod Touch does come with a voice memo app already installed into the device. So I would probably go with that one. And plus you can always download other apps for things you may need in the future. Unless you get 3G for it you will have to have an active wifi spot to use email and internet (which you probably know). The only downside I have for the iPod Touch is that the battery life will drain faster when doing certain things; using the internet for long periods of time, playing games, having the screen on for a longer time. You just have to be wise with your iPod settings. Turn the back light to the lowest level possible, use the internet only when needed, don't keep the screen on for an excessive amount of time. I hope this helped out!

I would recommend the Ipod touch, I myself have one, they are very reliable, and fast. There good for taking down notes etc... They do not cost a fortune either. So I'd go with the Ipod touch. Good luck with whatever you decide to get!
