i don't really know if she steps on her front hooves we do jump 2'6"-2'9", trail rides with some galloping but not now since we got snow, when we jump she rarely hits the pvc jumps.
i just got open front jumping boots today

You could ask your farrier she/he would be able to tell you if she dose step on them. On a personal level at my barn if you jump your horse has bell boots. I don't like them for trail riding so much unless they are very close fitted because my horse loves to tromp in the mud ; }

Honestly, I wouldn't advise against it. There's really no harm that can be done wearing bell boots. It never hurts to be safe either.! Not to mention that there are a million colors, shapes, and sizes of bell boots to choose from. That way, you can either get a refined look, or a funky fun look, or whatever look you want. Grays are especially fun to shop for, because they look good in almost any color.

I love shopping for tack... That's what I do when I get enough money from working.[:

Good luck and have fun.!

check her pasterns. there will be sores if she is overreaching. if you hear a clicking every once in a while that could also mean that she is overreaching. if you are worried about it you might want to get some...even if you don't use them now, you can use them when there isn't any snow and during the summer.
