I wanna buy a Samsung Solstice to replace my suck-ish Pantech Matrix . :\

I want to know is this a good choice to buy ?
Please don't tell my to buy an iPhone . I've had one before, and it didn't turn out so well . Plus I already have an iPod Touch .
