should i keep cm7 or should i go back to android 2.2 froyo?

i like cm7 better than android 2.2 froyo because i cant get wifi or the market to work on my huawei ascend so should i stay on cm7 or on 2.2 and is 2.3 gingerbread ever going to come out on huawei ascend?
