Should I let my truck be repossessed?

I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 two wheel drive. I owe about 9,700 on it. Ever since I purchased it I have had a hard time coming up with the payments. I am current as of this week. The problem is that it doesn't run and needs a rebuilt engine about $5,500 to repair it. I don't have that kind of money and I am just barely making the payments.The bank will not loan me any more money on it for repairs. What should I do?
 
if your giving thoughts to letting them reposess it... why don't you willingly give the car back. looks a whole lot better than them coming to get it.
