Okay, so here's the thing, I have a 2002 Jeep Wrangler that I absolutely love. I still owe $7,995.24.
@ the time of financing it, it was only 12,000 dollars, but my APR rate was 22.50%!!! Yikes!!!! Long story on how that happen. Just put it this way, my evil step mother was involved. The Jeep was in her name & then told me I should put in it my name to build my credit. I was only 17 @ the time, & I wasn't really aware that 22.50% was so high for a car, let alone a USED car!!!!! So its been 3 years now, still owe a shit load of money. I have built my credit & now I thinks it time I either trade her in or try to refinance & get a lower APR rate. Please help!!!!!! thanks!!!

You are correct that it's time to refinance at least. Should you trade it in or not? Well, generally you get the best deal by selling your vehicle on your own, and having financing options arranged before you visit the dealer for another car. Then you have something to compare the deal they offer you with.

But for sure at least refinance to a lower rate.
