should i sell my car before bankruptcy?

I think you need to get realistic.. for one thing... a 99 Honda Civic is NOT worth $5000. And, thanks to George Bush.. CREDIT CARD BILLS are specifically EXEMPT when you file for bankruptcy... so you will STILL OWE THE $9000 and you will have destroyed your credit FOR NOTHING... That was one of the first laws Bush signed when he went into office 8 years ago... you DID know that... right?
 
i have a honda civic 99 value at 5000, i plan on declaring chapter 7 bankruptcy i cant pay my 9000 on credit card debt, should i sell the car before declaring bankruptcy, or will i be able eto keep the car?
