...have not seen/ spoken to in 5yrs? There is such a long history here but the short of it is he has never been much of a father, has never met my 3 1/2 yr old daughter. My sister used to agree but now has decided she wants him in her life & he's gotten a bad rap all these years. My brother has not seen/spoken to our father in just as many years as me. My father has not tried to contact us. My sister did not tell me he was coming - I found out through my sister in law. She's been hiding this new relationship with him from me for years. I feel betrayed & blindsided. Not to mention that I think she is only getting married because she is incapable of being alone. That being said, her & I have always been pretty close but lately I am kind of realizing she is not a kind person. I'd just as soon skip the wedding altogether but wonder if I'm just overreacting? What would YOU do?

This is your sister's wedding, not yours. If she wants to invite him that is completely up to her but it shouldn't stop you from wanting to join in on her special day. Just because he is there doesn't mean you have to talk to him.
