Should I switch gyms from Ballys to Equinox fitness?

Im 18 and i would really like to switch from Bally to Equinox or NYSC. The thing is Equinox would be $150 a month and NYSC $65 a month. Currently i'm paying $24.00 a month at Bally but i hate it. It is very unsanitary and smelly.

I go to the gym 6x a week so its a big part of my life. I love to lift. But is it wise for me to make this move?

I live in NYC by the way.
