As of 1.5 weeks ago I have been unemployed (Nov 12th). I'm 27, female, engaged and my fiancé has the job I was last at. I have NVLD (lowest form of autism, PLEASE LOOK IT UP) and other disorders that don't matter to the job force.

So here is the question I really have. What is your opinion, tell my future employer about my autism or not and why? Why should I tell and why shouldn't I tell them?

depends on the job if this is a job working with special needs kids or adults then go ahead because can help you show you can see things from both perspective.

otherwise do not mention it untill after you get the job and then only mention if you need an accomodation

You aren't required to tell them, so why bother?

Possible scenarios:
-You don't tell them, and nothing changes.
-You tell them, and nothing changes.
-You tell them and the employer discriminates against you based on their pre-existing ideas and finds a way to force you out or fire you for something else
-You tell them, and are subsequently treated differently. Not outright discrimination, but unintentional changes in their behaviour towards you that make you feel out of place and misunderstood

So I really don't see any reason to tell them.
