Should I tryout for College Baseball If I haven't played since 8th grade?

I havent played on a baseball team since 8th grade and I was pretty good, but not amazing. Should I tryout tonight for college baseball even though I did not play in high school? Or should I just save the embarrassment and try something else? I think it is a D3 team.
 
I'd say go ahead and try out. It can't hurt, the worst that can happen is you don't make the team. At least then you won't find yourself saying "what if". If you haven't played since 8th grade though, your chances of making the team are probably pretty slim. Even D3.
 
Well things seems to change a lot in sports as the level goes up and like it would kinda be like a baby going from crawling to runners in three months, but i would never tell someone to not at least tryout if you make it you make it if you don't then you don't but if you don't tryout you might go to one of the games and be like damn im better then him then wish you had tried out...
