Should I use Trend Micro Internet Security instead of/in addition to Norton?

I need to pick an internet security system for my laptop (with Vista). The immediate options are to renew the Norton that came with the laptop for $60 for a year, or to install the Trend Micro that came with the laptop package deal I got, for $30. CNET gives Trend Micro a good review for average or basic coverage. Since budget is an issue for me, would you agree that Trend Micro will suffice, or would you warn me against potential problems?
