Should it be un-sinful for a couple to cohabit than marry?

75% of American marriages end in divorce (99% initiated by women). Should it be un-sinful for couples to cohabit instead so they won't go with legal battles or money?

I mean most American women tend to marry for money and want control of men, am I right? Does anyone think marriage has turned into a joke, trap, or scam?
